Birthlight Dawn
By Adrian Rangel
A daunting bright light suddenly emerges,
However this is not enough to quell my urges,
I race in gathering only minimal belongings,
As I assume I won’t be patiently longing,
I commence to set forth on my seemingly short journey,
And I temporarily depart from my beloved unknown town of homely,
Only I can can see the light which I am adventuring for solely,
And so I believe this is a hint pointing towards a greater revelation,
That I believe will rock me and my entire brain’s notation,
To a point where I will no longer stand in lost contemplation,
Of what is hidden from me by my lacking observation,
I bestow upon myself a sacred duty,
To complete my most important obligation,
That which is to uncover the world’s beauty,
By revealing that which is relatively unknown,
For the greater part of me to for once know,
I had arrived at that bright light and I had met her,
A light truly raining down from the sky in a yellow-like glow,
Smilingly gleaming and patiently awaiting,
For my introduction to life and my very existing.
She gently carries myself and carries herself with pride,
As she remains a strong-willed woman and now a mother,
She demonstrates the same care to I as to others in an even greater manner,
And truly exemplifies her bonafide character,
She remains this way until this day,
And I wouldn’t have it any other way
